    Police and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria, Richard Rhodes, has today announced that Victim Support has been commissioned to deliver support services for victims of crime in Cumbria. The new agreement will start on 1 April 2015 and will mean that victim referrals from the Constabulary which were previously forwarded to a regional Victim Care Unit in Manchester to make initial contact with victims of crime will now be handled locally in Cumbria.
